All About Scenarios in The Sims 4

The Sims 4 remains incredibly popular even seven years after its release. It is largely because the creators continue to develop the project. In particular, a major update was released in early November that added a Scenario Mode to the game. Let's talk about what it is and how it improves the user experience.

Scenarios are tasks for users that have a starting point and an end goal you need to reach. How you will complete the mission does not matter. You can work hard, make friendships, or, conversely, lead a sloppy lifestyle and steal things. The developers believe that this format makes the game even closer to real life.

Currently, there are two permanent scripts available: "Finding Love After A Breakup," in which you need to mend a relationship with your ex, and "Making Money," where you need to become a millionaire. These tasks are not limited in time and do not have intermediate points, so you can choose the method of execution yourself. As a result of both scenarios, each member of your family receives 5000 happiness points. Of course, the developers will add new scenarios in the future. In addition to these two templates, which are always available, there are also temporary themes such as "Too Many Toddlers," "Perfectly Well-Rounded," and "Surviving the Holidays."

If you are interested in this mode, you can pick it in the main game menu. Click the "New Scenario" button, select the template you are interested in, and choose a save (new or existing). At the moment, users have the opportunity to play these stories only with a new family. The developers plan to expand the capabilities of the mode and add the ability to work with scripts within the existing household.
